Dr. Elizabeth Wood, DVM, is a dedicated General Veterinary Dental Provider at Veterinary Dental Centers of Atlanta, committed to enhancing the oral health and overall well-being of your pets. A 2004 graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Wood further honed her expertise through a comprehensive year-long internship at Georgia Veterinary Specialists, specializing in small animal medicine, surgery, and emergency medicine. Following her internship, she practiced general veterinary medicine in Atlanta, where she developed a keen interest in veterinary dentistry, beginning specialized coursework in 2006. In early 2021, Dr. Wood completed the esteemed Veterinary Dental Practitioner (VDP) program.

Joining Veterinary Dental Centers of Atlanta in 2022, Dr. Wood has focused her practice exclusively on veterinary dentistry, her true passion. She firmly believes in the significant impact of dental health on pets’ quality of life and approaches each patient with the same care, compassion, and respect she would for her own pets. Dr. Wood is dedicated to educating pet owners on maintaining their pets’ dental health, ensuring they enjoy comfortable and healthy lives.
